People-Pleasing & Boundaries

When keeping the peace has quietly cost you your own.

Somewhere along the way you learned that being easy, agreeable, and useful was the safest way to be loved. It worked, and it has been costing you. People-pleasing is rarely about weakness; it's an intelligent old strategy that once helped you belong.

This might sound familiar

  • You say yes and mean maybe, or no.
  • You anticipate other people's moods before your own.
  • Boundaries feel like risk, rejection, or guilt.
  • You feel resentful without quite knowing why.

How we work together

We turn toward the parts of you that first learned to over-give, with warmth, not shame. Attachment-informed and Internal Family Systems-inspired work helps you understand what those parts have been protecting you from, so you can begin choosing yourself without abandoning them. Boundaries become an act of care, for you and the people you love.
