Relationships & Attachment
How we love, protect, reach, and withdraw.
So much of who we are in relationship was shaped long before we could choose it. The ways we reach for closeness, brace against it, or manage it from a distance, these are old, intelligent adaptations to what once felt safe or unsafe.
This might sound familiar
- You fear being 'too much' or 'not enough.'
- Closeness feels wanted and unsafe at the same time.
- You keep repeating patterns you can see but can't seem to leave.
- Boundaries feel like rejection, yours or theirs.
How we work together
Attachment work sits at the heart of my practice. The therapy relationship itself becomes a place to notice old blueprints and, slowly, practice something new, safer closeness, clearer edges, more room to be yourself. We move gently, with respect for the reasons every pattern first made sense.
Sessions
Sessions are 50 minutes, virtual across Alberta and Ontario or in-person in Calgary.
